Brass Threaded Insert for 3D Printing
If you need metric threads for small screws in your 3D printed part, these threaded inserts offer a high-quality solution.
The brass inserts are fused into the plastic.
To do this, create a hole in your print that is slightly smaller than the insert.
The threaded insert is then simply pressed into the plastic using a soldering iron at approximately 250°C.
Once the plastic has cooled, the insert is firmly in place and reliably holds a threaded screw.
