IDEX System - Independent Dual Extruders

The Creator 3 Pro is equipped with an independent dual extruder system (IDEX).

With this special dual extruder technology, you increase the efficiency of your production and, in contrast to many other dual systems, avoid two filaments unintentionally mixing on one object (e.g. due to small filament residues at the nozzle).

There are three print modes to choose from:

  1. Dual-Color Mode:
    Classic dual print mode with different colors and materials (e.g. soluble PVA filament combined with PLA)
  2. Mirror Mode: 
    the models are printed mirrored
  3. Duplicate Mode:
    the models are printed in parallel mode

Supports different nozzles

There are various high-temperature nozzles up to a maximum of 320 ℃ for the Flashforge Creator 3 Pro.

These nozzles differ in diameter and material. Thus, a wider range of filaments can be printed, including industrial materials.

Diameter (0.4 / 0.6 / 0.8 mm):

  • The thinner the diameter, the more accurate and
  • the thicker the diameter, the faster the 3D model can be printed. 

Material:

  • Stainless steel nozzles
  • carbon steel nozzles for carbon fiber materials

Thanks to the touchscreen interface and printing via network (WiFi/LAN), operating the 3D printer is extremely easy.

The closed design of the Creator 3 Pro ensures reliable printing results, especially when printing ABS filaments. For printing PLA, on the other hand, the top cover can be easily removed.
