Worin besteht der Unterschied zwischen PolySonic™ PLA Pro und Polymaker™ PLA Pro?
Polymaker™ PLA Pro ist eine Weiterentwicklung von PolySonic™ PLA Pro. Die Leistungsfähigkeit entspricht den gleichen Eigenschaften wie zuvor, ist nun jedoch in 32 Farben erhältlich.

Sind die Spulen mit einem AMS kompatibel?
Ja! Wir haben die Kanten unserer Spulen neu gestaltet, sodass sich nun alle Polymaker-Produkte optimal im AMS abrollen lassen.
 
Ist dieses Material lebensmittelecht?
Leider liegen uns derzeit keine Daten darüber vor, ob dieses Material lebensmittelecht ist. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt erfüllt kein auf dem Markt erhältliches 3D-Druckmaterial die FDA-Vorgaben für Lebensmittelechtheit. Dies liegt daran, dass für eine Zertifizierung als lebensmittelecht nicht das Grundmaterial, sondern das fertige Objekt selbst zertifiziert werden muss. Faktoren wie die Form des Objekts, das verwendete Druckbett, die Umgebung, in der das Objekt gefertigt wurde, und vieles mehr spielen eine Rolle bei der Erlangung eines Zertifikats für Lebensmittelsicherheit. Derzeit bietet die FDA keine spezifische Zertifizierung für den Bereich des 3D-Drucks an.

Wir bitten um Ihr Verständnis, dass wir derzeit keine Nachfüllpackungen (Refills) anbieten.

Ist dieses Material recycelbar?
Leider gibt es zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt noch keine optimale Lösung für das Recycling von PLA. Unsere Kartonspulen sind biologisch abbaubar; für das PLA-Material selbst existiert jedoch derzeit noch kein effizientes Recyclingverfahren.

Benötige ich ein geschlossenes Gehäuse (Enclosure), um PLA Pro zu drucken?
Nein. PLA Pro erfordert kein geschlossenes Gehäuse und lässt sich problemlos auf Druckern mit offenem Rahmen verarbeiten.

Erfordert PLA Pro eine gehärtete Düse?
Nein. PLA Pro enthält keine abrasiven Füllstoffe und lässt sich problemlos mit herkömmlichen Messingdüsen drucken.

Ist PLA Pro widerstandsfähiger als herkömmliches PLA?
Ja. Im Vergleich zu Standard-PLA bietet PLA Pro eine verbesserte Schlagfestigkeit sowie eine höhere Biegefestigkeit.

Wie sollte PLA Pro gelagert werden?
Bitte lagern Sie das Material in einer trockenen Umgebung. Die Verwendung einer PolyBox™ oder PolyDryer™ Box wird während der Lagerung und des Drucks dringend empfohlen.

Welche Stützmaterialien eignen sich für PLA Pro?
PLA Pro ist mit PolySupport™ und PolyDissolve™ S1 kompatibel.

What is the difference between PolySonic™ PLA Pro and Polymaker™ PLA Pro?
Polymaker™ PLA Pro is an evolution of PolySonic™ PLA Pro. Performance reflects the equivalent properties as before and now with 32 colors.

Will the spools work in an AMS?
Yes! We have redesigned the edges of our spools so all Polymaker products will now spin great in the AMS.
 
Is this material food safe?
Unfortunately we do not have any data whether this material is food safe. As of now, no 3D printing material on the market is FDA food safe compliant. This is because in order to be certified as food safe, the actual object needs to be certified and not the base material. The shape, bed used, environment the object was made, and much more goes into getting a food safety certificate. As of now there is no real certification that the FDA offers for 3D printing.
 
Do you sell refills?
We are sorry but we do not sell refills at this time.

Is this material recyclable?
Unfortunately there is no great answer for recycling PLA at this time. Our cardboard spools are biodegradable but there is no great way to recycle PLA at this time.

Do I need an enclosure to print PLA Pro?
No. PLA Pro does not require an enclosure and works well on open-frame printers.

Does PLA Pro require a hardened nozzle?
No. PLA Pro contains no abrasive fillers and prints well with standard brass nozzles.

Is PLA Pro stronger than regular PLA?
Yes. PLA Pro offers improved impact resistance and flexural strength compared to standard PLA.

How should PLA Pro be stored?
Store in a dry environment. Use of a PolyBox™ or PolyDryer™ Box is strongly recommended during storage and printing.

What support materials work with PLA Pro?
PLA Pro is compatible with PolySupport™ and PolyDissolve™ S1.
